By accessing or using the services of SuruLereFoods.com (“we,” “us,” or “our”), you agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions. If you do not agree, please discontinue use of our services immediately.

1. Consumer Contracts Regulations (UK)
1.1 Scope

These Terms comply with the Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013, applicable to UK-based consumers.

1.3 Product Information

All products are clearly described with ingredients, quantity, origin, and price in GBP (inclusive or exclusive of VAT as stated).

2. Refunds, Returns & Cancellations
2.1 Perishable vs Non-Perishable Goods

2.2 General Refund Policy

We prioritise store credit (vouchers) over monetary refunds, in line with our commitment to reduce food waste and fraud.
Where eligible, refunds may be issued in the following form:

Store credit (default): Valid for 12 months from issue

Monetary refund (rare): Only where required by law, or if store credit is unsuitable

Note: We reserve the right to offer replacement items or store credit as the primary form of resolution.

2.3 Cancellation Requests

Orders placed outside working hours, weekends, or during public holidays are processed the next working day.

Once an order is in the fulfilment or dispatch phase, cancellation may not be possible.

Express and perishable orders are non-cancellable once processed.

2.4 Returns Conditions (Non-Perishables Only)

Request must be made within 14 days of delivery.

Items must be unused, unopened, and in original packaging.

Return postage is the responsibility of the customer.

Refunds are processed within 14 days of returned item receipt and inspection.

2.5 Damaged or Incorrect Goods

Report issues within 48 hours of delivery with photos and details.

Approved cases may be resolved via replacement, store credit, or refund (in rare cases) at our discretion.

3. Shipping, Delivery & Liability
3.1 Dispatch Schedule

Orders placed before 12:30 PM (Mon–Fri) dispatch same day.

Orders placed after the cutoff or on weekends/bank holidays dispatch next working day.

3.2 Delivery Responsibility

We are not liable for:

Delays caused by couriers or third parties

Perishable goods spoiled due to failed delivery attempts

Inaccurate or incomplete delivery details provided by the customer

3.3 Perishable Goods Shipping Schedule

To maintain freshness and food safety, perishable items (e.g. fresh vegetables, chilled or frozen goods) are not dispatched on Thursdays or Fridays.
This is to prevent goods from being held in courier depots over weekends or bank holidays, where storage conditions may lead to spoilage.

Orders containing perishable goods placed after Wednesday 12:30 PM will be dispatched the following Monday (or next working day).

If your order includes both perishable and non-perishable items, we may split the shipment or delay dispatch until all items can be shipped together safely.

We are not liable for decomposition or spoilage resulting from delivery attempts made outside our perishable shipping window.

This policy ensures your order arrives in the freshest, safest condition possible.

4. Fraud Prevention

We reserve the right to:

Refuse orders with mismatched billing/shipping addresses without prior verification

Conduct fraud checks on high-risk or high-value orders

Cancel and refund suspicious orders without liability

5. Legal Limitations
5.1 Product Use & Suitability

Check all allergen and ingredient labels. We are not liable for adverse reactions.

5.2 Limitation of Liability

Our total liability is capped at the purchase price of the affected product(s). No liability is accepted for indirect or consequential losses.

6. Privacy & GDPR

7. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms at any time. Updates will be posted on our website with the new effective date. Continued use implies acceptance.

8. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Disputes shall be resolved exclusively by the English courts.
