Description

Pluvera Chicken 1300g is a whole chicken sized for a fuller family meal — enough for a generous pot of jollof rice, stew or roast dinner with a little extra to go around. Versatile enough for roasting whole, jointing for frying, or simmering in a Nigerian chicken stew.

How to cook

• Thaw overnight in the fridge — never at room temperature.
• Season generously with salt, pepper, ginger, garlic, stock cube and your preferred spice blend.
• Roast whole, joint and fry, or stew with scotch bonnet, tatashe and tomato base for classic Nigerian chicken stew.

Storage

• Keep frozen at -18°C until ready to cook. Defrost in the fridge, cook within 24 hours of thawing, and reach a minimum internal temperature of 75°C before serving.
