Ologi Yellow Corn 500g is finely milled yellow corn used to prepare a traditional West African pap — a smooth, nourishing porridge known as ogi or akamu, enjoyed as a weaning food for babies and a comforting breakfast for adults across Nigeria and Ghana. Yellow corn gives the pap a slightly deeper colour and flavour than the white corn version. Pack size: 500g.
How to prepare
- Mix the powder with cold water to a smooth paste, then pour in boiling water whilst stirring continuously until it thickens to your desired consistency.
- Sweeten with sugar or honey and add milk to taste. Serve warm.
Storage
- Store in a cool, dry place in an airtight container away from moisture.
