MP Yellow Garri 4kg is a fermented cassava garri with a golden hue and mellow flavour, traditionally achieved by roasting with a touch of palm oil — a style especially popular in eastern Nigeria. Its colour and slightly richer taste set it apart from the paler, more sharply sour Ijebu garri associated with the south-west. Pack size: 4kg.
How to prepare
- To prepare eba: use roughly 1 cup of garri to 1½ cups of just-boiled water, stirring vigorously with a wooden turner until smooth and elastic.
- To eat as a cold snack: soak a few spoonfuls in cold water with sugar, groundnuts, milk or coconut.
Storage
- Store in a cool, dry place in an airtight container away from moisture.
- Best used within 6 months of opening.
