How to cook
- Basic method: 1 cup rice to about 1¼ cups water, simmered 15 minutes, covered, off the heat.
- Rinse once or twice before cooking — jasmine rice doesn't need the heavy rinsing basmati does.
- Let it stand covered for 5-10 minutes after cooking, then fluff gently with a fork.
