Description
Lagos Pounded Yam 4kg is an instant pounded yam flour that delivers a smooth, stretchy Iyan swallow without the hours of traditional pounding. This 4kg pack suits families and regular cooking. It pairs beautifully with egusi soup, efo riro, okra, ogbono, bitter leaf soup and stewed assorted meat.
How to prepare
- Bring 2 cups of water to a rolling boil per 1 cup of poundo yam flour.
- Gradually pour in the flour whilst stirring continuously with a wooden turner to prevent lumps.
- Reduce heat, cover, and steam for 2 minutes. Stir firmly to a smooth, stretchy, elastic consistency before serving.
- Serve hot alongside your preferred Nigerian soup, shaped into individual portion balls.

- Store in a cool, dry place in an airtight container away from moisture.
- Best used within 6 months of opening.
