Gutted Scaled Tilapia 300-500gm is a smaller-bracket whole tilapia, already gutted and scaled — ready to season and cook once thawed. A good choice for individual portions or smaller households, sized down from our 500-800gm and 800-1000gm brackets.

How to prepare

• Thaw in the fridge, score the skin, season with ginger, garlic and pepper.
• Grill or fry whole until the flesh flakes easily, or add to a simmering pepper soup pot.
• Cook thoroughly until the flesh flakes and reaches 63°C internal.

Storage

• Keep frozen at -18°C until ready to use. Defrost in the fridge overnight — do not refreeze once thawed. Use within 24 hours of defrosting.
