Description

Frozen Mackerel Fish bag x2 gives you two 1kg bags of whole, frozen-fresh mackerel — a multipack option for stocking up without buying our larger 2.5kg bulk bag. Mackerel's rich, oily flavour and high omega-3 content make it a favourite for grilling and stews.

How to prepare

• Thaw overnight in the fridge, pat dry, season generously, then pan-fry, grill or add to stew.
• Cook thoroughly until the flesh flakes easily and reaches 63°C internal.

Storage

• Keep frozen at -18°C until ready to use. Defrost in the fridge overnight — do not refreeze once thawed. Use within 24 hours of defrosting.
