Description
Adun Yellow Garri 1.5kg is fermented, toasted cassava granules with a golden colour from added palm oil — tangy, slightly tart, and coarser in texture than white garri. It's the classic base for eba, and just as popular soaked cold as a quick snack.
How to prepare
- To prepare eba: 1 cup garri to about 1½ cups just-boiled water. Stir vigorously with a wooden turner until smooth, cover for 2 minutes, stir again.
- Serve hot, shaped into small balls with your favourite soup or stew.
Also enjoyed cold as a snack: soak a few spoonfuls in cold water with sugar, groundnuts, milk or coconut.
Storage
- Store in a cool, dry place in an airtight container.
- Keep away from moisture to prevent clumping.
- Best used within 6 months of opening.
