Adun Yam Flour (Alubo) 1.5kg is a traditional Nigerian yam flour (alubo) used to prepare amala, the soft brown swallow loved across Yoruba cooking. Pack size: 1.5kg.
How to prepare
- To prepare amala: 1 cup yam flour to about 2 cups boiling water. Stir vigorously with a wooden turner until smooth, cover for 2 minutes, stir again.
- Serve hot, shaped into small balls with your favourite soup or stew.
Traditionally served with ewedu, gbegiri and stewed meat.
Storage
- Store in a cool, dry place in an airtight container.
- Keep away from moisture to prevent clumping.
- Best used within 6 months of opening.
