Adun Foods Ewa Oloyin honey beans 10kg premium sweet beans with creamy texture. Ideal for Nigerian beans, porridge and bulk cooking.
How to cook
- Soak overnight in cold water to reduce cooking time (optional for fast-cook varieties).
- Pick over for stones, rinse thoroughly, then boil in fresh water for 45-75 minutes until tender.
- For akara, rub off the skins before grinding with onion, pepper and spices.
- For moi moi, blend soaked peeled beans with pepper, onion, crayfish and palm oil, steam in ramekins or leaves.
Storage
- Store in a cool, dry cupboard in an airtight container.
- Use within 12 months for best flavour and cooking performance.
