How to prepare

• To prepare plantain amala: 1 cup plantain flour to about 2 cups boiling water. Stir vigorously with a wooden turner until smooth, cover for 2 minutes, stir again.
• Serve hot, shaped into small balls with your favourite soup or stew.

Pairs well with egusi, ewedu, gbegiri or vegetable soup.
