Description
Adun Foods Zobo Leaves are dried hibiscus (sorrel) leaves for brewing zobo, the deep red, tangy hibiscus drink served at Nigerian parties and family gatherings. Known as sobolo in Ghana, it's the same flower, just a different name depending on where you're from.
How to brew
- Rinse the dried leaves, then simmer in water for 15-20 minutes until deeply coloured.
- Strain, sweeten to taste, and add ginger, pineapple or mint if you like it spiced or fruity.
- Chill well and serve over ice.
